Teaching Hospitals
Teaching hospitals are mandatory for medical and health courses for students to gain practical clinical skills along with theoretical knowledge gained at the institute. As proposed, the office of Director, Department of Clinal Services under National Medical Services, MoH has listed the following health facilities as teaching hospitals for the Institute, accordingly, directed Medical Health Council to conduct assessment.

- Down Town Hospital : The hospital is providing medical care not only to the people of North East but also to the neighboring countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. down town hospital is the first Multispecialty Corporate hospital in the North East. Commissioned on 15th of February 1989 and has completed 30 years of dedicated services.
